Kneighborhood Knives is a mobile knife sharpening studio specializing in traditional hand-sharpening on whetstones. 

From Genevieve with Kneighborhood Knives: "I chose the name Kneighborhood Knives carefully. I wanted to reflect what's most important to me about this business: providing in-person, high-quality sharpening right in your own neighborhood. Often, knife sharpening is something that is done out of sight, behind closed doors, and over the course of days or weeks. I wanted to create a sharpening service built on face-to-face interaction, friendliness, transparency, and quality. I sharpen using custom-built gear (water-cooled, low-speed) alongside natural & synthetic Japanese whetstones and diamond plates. My process allows a nuanced and purposeful approach to sharpening that removes the minimum amount of material from the blade. My techniques promote your blade’s longevity and result in a sharpening job that is tailored to each knife."
